The Institute of Internal Auditors-Morocco “IIA-MAROC” (AMACI) is a non-profit association, formed between natural persons who adhere to its Statutes .
It is governed by the Dahir n ° 1-58-376 of 3 joumada I 1378 (November 15, 1958), modified by the Dahir on law n ° 1-73-283 of April 10, 1973 regulating the right of association.
The IIA-MAROC has more than 600 members belonging to the public and private sectors and exercising functions in relation to internal audit, Governance, Risk Management and Permanent Control, and:
- Internal audit directors,
- Internal auditors, inspectors in central state administrations or in local authorities.
- Permanent control, internal control, compliance, risk management professionals
- Statutory Auditors
- Consultants
- Teachers and researchers in fields related to internal audit
- Students
Members of IIA-MAROC are required to respect the Statutes ,Internal Regulations as well as the Ethics Mechanismof the Association.
IIA-MAROC: More than 35 years at the service of the professionalism of Morocco’s internal auditors
Created in 1985, the Institute of Internal Auditors of Morocco “IIA-MAROC” (AMACI) is a non-profit association of natural persons. It has been a member of the International Institute of Internal Auditors ( IIA Global ) since 1991. The Institute has more than 600 members from the public and private sectors.
Since 1989, IIA-MAROC has been a founding member of the Francophone Union of Internal Auditors ( UFAI ) and a member of the European Confederation of Internal Audit Institutes ( ECIIA ) since 1997. The Institute is also a member of the African Federation of Internal Audit Institutes ( AFIIA ) since 2009.
The IIA-MAROC undertakes to continue promoting the growth and development of Audit, Governance, Risk Management, Permanent Control, Internal Control and Compliance activities for the benefit of its members and Moroccan companies and public and private organizations.
